Brag

I love imagining that Bakura would be a doting dad who'd brag about and praise his son at every chance he got, especially when it game to his school successes (which there are many.) Hayate's fine with this, he's just very chill about it.

As a side note, I WAS going to make it that Hatate's mother died in a car accident at 2 years old, but I learned that Bakura's mother and sister died in a car crash in the CANON UNIVERSE. NOW I gotta think of something else for her death. Goshdarnit...

Still, totally loving the idea of Hayate and Bakura being super tight and father and son.
