Mercury: Daddy daddy! Guess what!

Rurik: *opens eyes and yawns* What is it Merky?

Mercury: When I grow up, I wanna breath fire just like you!

Rurik: *smiles* Is that so? Why don't you wanna breath shadow like your mom?

Mercury: It's not that I don't LIKE shadow... It's just... I wanna be big and strong like you one day!

Rurik: Pretty high goals... Well then for your sake, I hope you take after my side of the family.

Stratus: Remember Mercury, your element reflects who you are. What ever element you breath will be special and unique, no matter who you take after.

After Rurik died, Mercury eventually breathed her element. Much to her joy, she did indeed take after her father and breathed blue fire.
